Applesauce Nut Bread

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 cups applesauce
2 eggs
2 tbsp melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x8-inch pan.
In a large bowl, mix together sugar and eggs until well combined.
Add apple sauce and melted butter to the egg mixture; stir to combine.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over the top.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
